John M. Tassillo, Jr. is a solo practitioner at the Law Office of John M. Tassillo, Jr. and concentrates his practice in the areas of trusts and estates matters with an emphasis on estate planning, business succession planning and estate administration. John received a J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1993, where he was a member of the Columbia Business Law Review, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1995, and a B.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Adelphi University in Accounting. John began his career as a tax accountant with Arthur Young in New York City. John is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) where he has been recognized for his efforts in the career development of young accountants. John presently is an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he teaches Estate and Gift Taxation in FDU's Masters of Taxation Program. He frequently lectures CPAs and other professionals and has been published in several prestigious journals on estate planning and other related tax matters.
